I also have a TIBETAN decent. I think even if TIBET becomes independent I don't we will survive long because we won't have ATOM BOMB , PROPER ARMY , THE TERRAIN IS really harsh , this we will have to be depended on someone just like BHUTAN depend on india against CHINA BHUTAN border. Then I think if we what TIBETAN culture to survive then merging with INDIA ( LIKE SIKKIM DID ) would be a smart and lifesaving move . Plus it will be a win win situation for both INDIA AND TIBET because our TIBETAN FAMILY will be saved as well HINDUS , SIKHS AND JAINS will get access to MANSAROVAR LAKE . What do u think ??

USA and Canada have a Policy of trying to "Convert" Peoples Ethnicity, so USA says you are American, and Canada says your Canadian! I was born in India, Indian by birth, but Tibetan by culture. Am a refugee. My step dad was in the group who worked as coolie labourer building main roads in Siliguri in the 1960's as the contractors liked the honesty of the tibetan refugees.

I have heard that many Tibetans who are born here and educated here have problem getting jobs since they don't get citizenship, if it was for me I would give everyone citizenship,but considering the population and scarcity of resources per capita ,so atleast well educated Tibetans can be given citizenship and they will help forward our country,and consequently further helping and educating the next gen of indo-Tibetans As,many are pushed to moving to another countries or who can't are held to opening shops.

if those Indo-tibetans has India's citizenship ,then they can't engage in any Tibet government activities in India's territory .they are Indians ,the same to a bunch of Indians creat a Tibet government on India's territory . if they just acting it is ok,but if they yell free Tibet ! the damage to India could be immeasurable .

There is no 1 liner answer to that Q. It will all depend on a lot of factors. 2 things are clear though, HH will reborn only if Tibetans wish for. And if so, HH will be born in a Free Tibet or outside.
