My 4 year old is a big fan of chemical brothers since i played her all the videos, even the ones she found a bit scary, reassuring her they're not real meant she loves them. Especially wide open, Free Yourself, midnight madness and The Salmon Dance. it's great fun introducing her to different music

Same here my daughter is 9 but she has loved the CB since she first saw the wide open video , I hope to bring her to her first show very soon , I saw them a number of times in the 90’s and 2000’s and I have to say from watching some of the recent shows on here they seem a bit lack lustre , I know they could do better .. those shows back then were unbelieveable to witness ,still will go and see them though !!

My 8 year old daughter liked all the pop stuff her school friends like. Never liked any of my tunes. Then she kinda turned, said Galvanise has the most interesting / best noises, and she's suddenly a fan. Still trying to get her into Chemical Beats, but I'll get there. It's so great sharing this stuff with your kids. I know I'm biased, and shouldn't care what music she likes, but I was so proud when she started liking Chem Bros ;)

Further is a very underated album. It has a lot of beautiful tracks. Anyways, this is one of most beautiful mixes of their tracks. Miss some tracks form "Exit Planet Dust", I know first album has a lot of resampling and after they have made more sounds of your own. "Private Psychedelic Reel" is a master piece, really ecstatic.

Sorry to disappoint … but like Leftfield post-Leftism ….The Chemical Brother’s new stuff mostly doesn’t hit the spot for me anymore … and their live shows leave me mostly cold, bored and unmoved. What’s gone wrong?? … it’s hard to put a finger on it …. 🤔 If you caught them in the Hey Boy, Hey Girl era … and was at that Aston (Birmingham, UK) Sports Hall gig years back where the bass was so thunderous pint pots of beer on the table had to be held down, and a security man(used to heavy metal gigs) was hiding behind the sound desk cupping his ears in disbelief as the huge 8mm projectors churned out rough cut and paste projections whipping the crowd into a euphoric dance frenzy that left sweat dripped off the walls… THAT was a REAL Chemical Brother’s gig!! … people staggering out stunned, strangers whispered “f*cking hell … that was incredible” ….Hoped for that at Bluedot Festival by the Jodrell Bank telescope a few years later … but there they just BORED me and were piercing, tedious and irritating to the point I walked away to another sound stage…hard to say if everything was too polished and the basics of grit mismanaged? … clearly they lost their dance mojo somewhere … as all artists do - eventually - like Leftfield … the new stuff doesn’t cut it…. now the Masses gather to worship … too late … the magic has gone.
