@@nicokewana383 Chemical Engineering is about the conversion of raw materials to products, and all the unit operations & processes that go in to that. The degree would be better understood if it was named Process Engineering.

It depends on the university structure. In others countries they do focus also on chemistry if you are studying chemical engineering

Those are one of the heavy weights, its mixture of electrical(mostly) and computer science and a bit of mechanical, I am actually doing Mechanical and Mechatronics at UCT my one is mechanical(mostly) and electrical and a bit of computer science. hope this helps a bit
