For stopwatch, if u are using analog version, take the time value to one d.p meanwhile if u are using the digital version, take it to two d.p Some question that might be tested 1. Plot a graph Watch up the question Temperature vs 1/t OR 1/t bs temperature For temperature vs 1/t The graph should be linear (not directly proportional because it is not start from origin) For 1/t vs temperature The graph should be curve like (exponential curve going upward) 2. From the graph, predict the time taken for a specific temperature, you should use the graph to find the value of 1/t from the given temperature. With the 1/t, you can get the time 3. What will happen if ethanoic acid is used to replace hydrochloric acid. Why? Rate of reaction will be lower Ethanoic acid is a weak acid while hydrochloric acid is a strong acid. Concentration of H+ ion in ethanoic acid is lower than hydrochloric acid 4. What will happen if sulphuric acid is used to replace hydrochloric acid. Why? Rate of reaction will be higher Sulphuric acid is a diprotic acid while hydrochloric acid is a monoprotic acid. Concentration of H+ ion in sulphuric acid is double/twice of hydrochloric acid 5. What can be observed if the Mg metal is replaced with Cu or Ag metal. Explain why. No observable changes Cu and Ag is less electropositive than Hydrogen Cu and Ag cannot react with acid 6. What is the change in the rate of reaction when magnesium strip/ribbon is replaced with magnesium powder Higher rate of reaction Magnesium powder has larger total surface area exposed to collision

Teacher, how about the graph if the question ask to plot the graph with 1/time against temperature and time against temperature? Because sometimes I plot the graph with 1/time, if I sambung all the point and also from the y-axis, the y-axis value will reach negative, and when we exam, we need to sambung all the point only or we need to touch until y-axis?

usually ror always use 1/time bcs ror means the changes in quantity of a product or reactant PER UNIT TIME so s-1

@@ZeroTwo-mb9nm yup. just follow the data/points that u have. If those points connected and produce a straight line, then just use straight line. If those points can be connected with a curve, then draw a curve. Both answers (curve or straight line) are acceptable

no problem, just follow your points, let say, theoretically for 1/t vs temp we should get a curve but somehow your result all lies in a straight line then just draw a straight line then, follow your result, don't try to manipulate it @@Patrickchocolate
