The ones with more than one operation seem wrong. Why multiply using 4 sig figs, but then "pretend" you only used 3? I don't think that's right.

it is not wrong, in the case of 1800 it can be 2,3 or 4 s.f.

@@issakawalit490 that's not correct, and nor does it apply to addition and subtraction. it has 2 sig figs. It's confusing because it has two trailing zeros, but that shouldn't necessarily mean that it's not precise. It may be exactly 1800. It's a bad example to use for sig figs.
