Congratulations, great video as always! But what bothers me the most are fisher projections, they are so counterintuitive... i never got those right, particulary on carbohydrates

Agreed. Fischer projections are tough. They are tough because they don't convey realistic bond angles. They require you to 'straighten' out the carbon backbone mentally and project it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoXGYmx4eb2JfZo Here is the link to my best attempt to explain them!

what if I'm looking at the bond line structure on the other side do I switch the eye for the newman projection to the other side?
