When carbon dioxide is passed through lime water lime water milky because of the formation of calcium carbonate. And at the same time if we pass Excess of carbon dioxide then what happen then this, by this milkeness disappear just because of the calcium carbonate water is already present there , then we are the passing the carbon dioxide then, it is forms calcium bicarbonate which is soluble so the calcium carbonate is soluble so the milkeness is disappear.

If Mg also reacts with CO2, but why it's Byproduct Is MgCO3? And also CO2 is kind of acidic in nature so, along with a formation of salt, Can the byproduct be also Hydrogen gas
