In the beginning, when Chen is praying his Nafs-e-Amara (basically the part of you that whispers evil thoughts to you) isn't there but when he finishes it's there but is still weak it's only when he gets up that evil Chen also does, because he is no longer under divine protection against his dark thoughts. It then follows him around telling Chen that it's his friend and should release it from the chains that Chen has kept it in, but even though it is in chains it still effects him like when it tells him to slap his little brother. Then it tells Chen that he isn't gonna get famous dissing the society and culture (Dawat-e-Zina:Call to sins). In the courus, evil Chen is telling him that he will never escape his dark side because it will always be there in everything he does. At least that's how I interpreted it.
