What I love about this movie, is how they never said "I love you" to each other, he never called her pretty, they didn't sleep together nothing, yet the you could feel the love through the screen...it literally wasn't abt their looks , it was about their souls

I broke into tears at the moment where he's shaving the head of the girl and I was overwhelmed with emotion. The music is perfectly in sync with their actions and so intense, it was hard to breathe. The cinematography is beautiful, the chemistry and the acting amazing. Some movies who deals with school bullying and mental health have several scenes related to the water (like cry me a sad river, happy birthday a Thai drama or with fish like a Japanese drama "Kingyo Club"), this is very interesting. I will watch it and write an review about it with Cry me a sad river, thank you for your edits ❤ (this one was very original!).

i swear as soon as i saw the movie on kissasian I KNEW you were going to edit this hsjshd. same as you, i found this one so much better than other movies of similar genre... the amazing visual narrative along with the acting and character developing, as you said, made it to my top 5 too. i loved the mains and their relationship, but also the very raw and real "the system is broken" message and, specially, that parallel between the male police officer telling chen nian how he never liked to sleep (and how he was starting to appreciate it as he grew older) and the last scene of his, in which he leaves because "he's tired and wants to sleep" just after the older police officer told him he came a long way - idk it's just a hint of his story and such a beautiful detail, i loved that they included it. i just,, have SO MANY feelings about this film... for real ;_; it broke me. i felt like my heart was being eating by bits. i was sobbing and laughing, and for the most part in such an emotional shock, ughh GIRL I !!! LOVE THEM sm :(

And I freaking love how the boy is willing to do anything for the girl. This just shows how much he cherishes her. Their realtionship is just too pure. It's just pure love.
