I actually taught this was a man when I first looked at her. Such big shoulders and a strong back, strong legs as well. People have to understand to be good at anything you must be physically strong and healthy. Trying to learn martial arts requires fitness as well. Taiji today is nothing but a joke. Sick , Fat unhealthy people pretending if they wave their arms around that this is Taiji. Which really is a silly made up word. This woman is practicing the short Chen 18 step form with movements taken from the long 74 movement form. Chen is really the only form left with any martial arts in it. Yang and Wu are complete bullshit and I wouldn't recommend anyone go near it.

Tradition is the only way? We still would be into foot binding. Relax we all end up the same way in the end. Have it your way only masters should do Tai Chi. You would be amazed at how many masters of martial arts live within a five mile radius of each other. Remember there are other ways beside the missionary.

I am a yang stylist but love the Chen Style and play with it and do the 48 combination form that has lot of Chen; but at 86 yang is a lot better on the knees and fits the age a lot better. Like this 18 forms, which is a nice way to warm up for 108 yang. Chen roads 1 and 2 where great for me twenty years ago, for the next 14 years it will be yang.
