@@anurag.thakur no. Only the Arch was completed approx 10 days back. It will take more than 1.5 year to complete the remaining segments and the top sheets and laying the track. Then the bridge is done. The Anji Khad bridge also is remaining and then there are a few challenging tunnels. The trials of the railway line may begin from Mar23.

They cannot lay the track on arch before it is completed. An unfinished arch is not able to support the rail or any structures built upon it.

They have not done it like that so far. They have completed the arch without building the upper structure and we are told that the arch members have filled been with concrete. Obviously the next stage will be to build the vertical columns and then finally push the deck across. Arnold

The bridge is the worlds tallest arch way bridge. Right now the approach on both sides complete. The second pontoon of the arch is ready. Completion dec 2020. First train from jammu to srinagar dec 2021.
