Great series of videos on Chengdu. One thing great about this city is the always plant tree at side walk. I can easily determine how old the neighborhood by the height of the trees. Less than one story height usually means 2-5 years. Two story height are 10+ year neighborhood.

Yeah that’s inaccurate they import all the trees so… you can’t tell anything, I live on the outskirts of Chengdu and have had constant construction for the last 5 years and the finishing step is always trees, they bring in the bigger trees to the wealthiest builds and smaller trees to the less affluent builds !

Hi, Max! Great trip around the modern city of Chengdu!👍! Lots of beautiful buildings, cool wide streets, lots of futuristic buildings! By car, you can see a lot more than on foot, when I was there, I probably didn’t have time to see half of everything that you showed! But why are there so few people on the street?! I stayed there for about three weeks and noticed that there the sky is mostly fat, little sun, but there is a lot of greenery in the city, I really liked it. Thanks Max for the trip, I hope that I will visit this city again !!! Max how about a walk around the world's largest store in Chengdu Global Store -!?!

Chengdu is located at the bottom of Sichuan Basin. Chongqing is at the top of Sichuan Basin. So Chongqing is very hot. But Chengdu is very cool. The bad thing is that it is difficult to see sunny weather in Chengdu. This is determined by the local geographical environment. But I like Chengdu very much. Compared with Chongqing, the climate is more pleasant. The ground is flat and you can ride a bike. Chengdu is the capital of gastronomy.

Pour le petit Français que je suis et qui vit dans une ville d'environ 5000 habitants, c'est super impressionnant à voir. / 对于我这个居住在一个拥有大约 5000 名居民的城市中的小法国人来说,看到它真是令人印象深刻。
I am from the southern part of India. For years, Indian media and Indian politicians have portrayed China as the No 1 enemy of India because of the territorial disputes the two countries have. The media in India is the shittiest one can see in the whole world. It does not give the Indian people any information on how far China has developed in the last few decades. There are hundreds of millions of Indians who (because of Indian media) firmly believe that India is far more advanced and more powerful than China. After watching this video and many other videos of Chinese cities, I can honestly say that Indian cities look like filthy slum when compared to Chinese cities. I have travelled to many cities in USA. China is definitely developing at breath taking speed to match or even overtake American cities in technological modernity. Indians can only dream of India reaching such heights. I am awestruck by the level of commitment made by the Chinese Government to develop China on par with USA and by the hard work Chinese people have put in the last decades to achieve this. I will not be surprised if American people who visit China are left dumbfounded by this spectacular growth. The people of China definitely make China a country envied by the rest of the world....particularly by Americans, Koreans, Japanese and the lowest rung Indians (amongst the G20). Finally, I don't care how many Indians criticize me for typing this.
