I'm so glad I caught this video. I'm passionate about current affairs and international relations. I remember seeing him in regular media coverage of Europe back in the day. What a pleasant surprise to catch him in this video and, in fact, I had totally forgotten him were it not for this event. China needs more friends like the open-minded Mr Van Rompuy in Europe and the west. He's so right, at the end of the day, we're all humans.

@@ndorobei4391 whats with this indians claim buddha was indian born ? Nope Buddhist textbook clearly state he was born a prince of Nepal. The genetic dna makeup of native nepalese are different from indians. Nepal kingdom was never part of india . Buddhism spread from nepal to india in the west to tibet n china in the east but its influence on india was shortlived whilst it last to this day in tibet n china .
