There's nothing wrong with saying no thank you. If you say it with a polite tone, no one is going to fault you. Remember it's not always what you say but how you say it- learning mannerism is just as important as learning the language itself. And honestly, every English speaking culture is different so perhaps you should highlight that. I'm British and I prefer people being more specific than answering with ambiguous answers- you're good you want it or you're good because you don't? Could go either way.

其實"Am I making this clear?"、"Did I make myself clear?"
最近都要用我的破英文加上客戶的翻譯網頁跟他們RD討論問題, 剛好碰上對方使用 on the same page回覆我 "One last thing I want to emphasis - just to make sure we are all on the same page as it is very important" 讓我思考了很久..., 加上你的講解, 映像更深刻了, 感謝@@~
No one would ever say his goldfish (or any animal) "passed away" in any country I know. That expression is largely for persons only. Similarly, if you say "I lost my goldfish/dog", most people would actually think your pet is missing (unlike, say, "I lost my husband" meaning that he died). "Am I making this clear?" or "Did I make myself clear?" could also be interpreted as rude, depending on the context (suggesting you are annoyed that the other person is not paying sufficient attention).
與其企圖直接用它(們)的褒義,不如用其褒義方面的同義詞(組): 首選:inexpensive、competitive,(最好用) 次選:low-price、low-priced、cost(ting) (very) little、damage less on your pocket/wallet。
Cheap=tacky 划算 Be+ Good Value; economical; it’s a steal; a bargain Passed away; I lost my gold fish; is RIP; be in a better place; One sec. can you give me a second; please hold on; give me one moment pls; Am I making sense? Does this make sense to you? Are we on the same page? Am I making this clear? did I make myself clear? I see; oh that makes sense; go it After you; go ahead; 你先请 提建议“你应该…”Why don’t you go to bed earlier ; have you tried going to bed earlier? I’m good/ok thank you 瘦You look so fit; I can tell you have lost some weight
如果想回應對方他的行為“無妨,沒關係” 該說It doesn’t matter 或 Never mind 再接Leave it to me.

You could, however, "Did you get?" Is often used to asked if someone has gotten the item/thing. So let's say you asked friend to get something for you from the store, you may ask him "did you get it?" when he comes back. Which phrase and how to use it is depended on the situation. Generally, "am I making sense?" wouldn't be used unless you, yourself, are also unsure. For example, I am trying to understand a concept and I am not 100% sure my thought process makes sense. I may explain my thoughts to someone else and ask "am I making sense?" Essentially I am asking that person if my thoughts make sense. If you are trying to confirm whether others understand or not, you may say "does that/this make sense?"/ "Was that clear?" (If you aren't sure what you said was clear). You can say "do you understand?" as well. It just really depends on the tone. Like " DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Is different from "do you understand?" XD Hope that makes sense!
@CC-nn2hd4 жыл бұрын
@@chinghuichen8486 It depends on the situation and what you are trying to say. For example: If someone asks you to do something, then "leave it to me" is more appropriate. If someone asks you if you want A or B (but you know your choice didn't really matter), you may reply with "It doesn't matter" or "it doesn't matter since the xxx will be making the decision" You may say "never mind" in situations where you repeatedly say the same thing but the other person have trouble hearing or understand. So in the end, you give up trying to explain and say "nevermind". I would say the best way to figure out/understand when and how to use each is to not trying to translate or associate fully with 中文 phrases. Instead, try to watch/listen more english to understand how it's used. :)

Lily 你好! 請問 ”Did I make myself clear.” 和 “Do I make myself clear.”
I really like this kind of videos that show right way or better way to express. I thought many of not courteous short sentences is right before I watched the video. Please make more the sort of video.
1,dead,表示机器坏了,比如my phone is dead。2,wait,是等等,不对,在考虑或者否定自己,比如wait,sorry, I actually like that one. A:do you still have this bag in store? B: sorry we sold out this. It’s very popular so…… A: yeah, I know. 4. No thank you. I am good. & That’s all I need.

No,thanks.

Nitpicking: 3:27 should be “The declarations LOOK really cheap”
Normally if your pet passed away, we would say that he/she crossed the rainbow bridge. Good value we also can say it’s a good deal.

Wait minutes, we don't say thin or skinny(瘦皮猴) to a person, actually skinny is kinda insulting, "slim" (苗條) is appropriate. There is nothing wrong if you say "No, thank you, I am fine" if combined a smile at the same time. Also " I am good" is a common mistake, means " 我是個好人", my English colleague taught me, to reply a greeting to someone such as "how are you", you can say "thank you, I am very well".

第一個句子“The food in Taiwan is good value” 不是”The food in Taiwan have good value”嗎?
If they ask you a second time, just say no thank you. Doesn't mean you're rude they would in fact appreciate you being more specific. I think english depends on what country you're at as every culture is different. I've never heard saying no thank you is rude and I'm a born and bred british. If they think you're rude then it's purely because it's the way you say it. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.
