Sir - You have made Chennai central station most beautiful and adorable - I have never seen like this before - At the end of river coovam a canal by name Buckingham canal ( 12 KMS ) is passing next to Madras University, now it has become a gutter and a breeding den for rats and mosquitoes and many unauthorized drainage pipes are let into it - There is sluice gate next to the university if you open and allow the water from the the island grounds water will flow up to green ways rd and join Adyar river -To avoid mosquitoes you can dredge the sand bar and allow 10 percent of saline water into island grounds as mosquitoes dont breed into saline water - K R Subramanian

Thanks to both central and state govt for doing this project in fast phase. CMRL will maintain this as properly as they can but people should also avoid littering or damaging properties.
