Being a full fledged lhb train 7hr45mins is very slow between Coimbatore Chennai route with less stops along with cheran/ Nilgiri... Chennai Trivandrum mail is much faster 6hrs 50 mins.

Just as experimental this special train was operated for few months. If it was convert as regular train then it will run with top priority in terms of speed and trave time.

This train operating as a trial for introducing as Private train in Chennai - Coimbatore route in future. Just to analyse the patronage and timings it was running as special.

Kudos nice video, Let's give identity for the city, where this junction is put up, we always ensure to mention Egmore as Chennai Egmore station, why not it could be mentioned as Vellore Katpadi Junction, its inside the Vellore city corporation limits

Flexi fare rate,if u book ticket in advance it will be less other wise it will be higher rate. I booked one day before it was Rs 505 + convenience fee = 540. Rate was very much high.

May be from ur point of view. But for the experience i got during my travel is worth spending.Also i stand only during station entry and few minutes for outside view, most of the time i was inside the train only. As a railfan this is my passion.
