Chennai Central via Avadi - Siruvapuri Murugan Temple Travel ! Train ! Bus Combo

How to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple by train and bus combo from Avadi shared in this video.
I travelled from Chennai Central to Avadi by local EMU train. Ticket fare Rs 10. Avadi to Siruvapuri Murugan Temple direct MTC bus service (no : 580S ) available. But frequency will be very less. May be on Tuesday and weekend you might get frequent Bus from Avadi. But not sure.
Avadi Bus stand located just around 200 to 300 metres distance from Avadi railway station. From Avadi direct bus available ( no : 580 ) to Arani & Puduvoyal. Around 1 hour frequency this bus service available. This bus goes via Periyapalayam .
I travelled in MTC bus no : 580 Avadi - Puduvoyal service ( upto Agaram, Ticket fare Rs 39 ) to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple. I alighted at Agaram bus stop. From Agaram bus stop Siruvapuri Murugan Temple distance is around 1.9 km. From this bus stop, share auto available. I travelled by asking lift in two wheeler to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple. Total travel time taken around 1 hour 45 minutes to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple from Avadi.
From Avadi Bus stand direct bus ( no : 580 ) available to Periyapalayam. From Periyapalayam bus stand MTC Bus service no : 547 available to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple. Also share auto too available from Periyapalayam to Siruvapuri Murugan Temple.

We can take train from central station to kavaraipettai railway station... From there (main road) they are having share auto to siruvapuri cut road from their we can catch share auto or bus to temple This is my personal experience. Hope this helps

Bro avadi vandha solunga.. pasumai unavagam la na food vangamaten pakatula inoru shop irukum ganesh bhavan anga food nala irukum. Naanum one day 580S try pani pakanum. Usually avadi resident person eh redhills poitu tan siruvapuri povanga.

Actually Avadi - Siruvapuri Bus via Tiruninravur and Tamaraipakkam is not suitable for Avadi people itself. Avadi to Redhills just 16 km. Avadi-Redhills, From redhills there is lot of bus and share autos to siruvapuri. Only people living in Tiruninravur and Tamaraipakkam will use this bus

@@johithedits6860 I think by bus travel from Avadi to Redhills and Redhills to Siruvapuri temple it will take atleast 1 hour 15 minutes. Avadi - Thiruninravur - Periyapalayam route will take 1 hour 30 minutes by bus. From Periyapalayam too share auto available to Siruvapuri temple. So just around 15 to 30 minutes difference. Less traffic in Thamaraipakkam route compared to Redhills. Anyways it's upto individual choice to choose among the best route.

From Ponneri Bus stand, catch MTC Bus no : 558B ( Pazhaverkadu - Redhills service ) and alight at Thatchur koot road. From Thatchur koot road board MTC bus no : 547 ( Redhills - Periyapalayam service.). This bus goes via Siruvapuri Murugan Temple.

Yes already mentioned in video. In return direction i travel by share auto ( cost Rs 50 per person ) from Siruvapuri Murugan Temple to Redhills . I just wanted to try unexplored Avadi route.

@@suryabala_005 Already there is demand for direct bus service to Siruvapuri.Murugan temple from Avadi . So i think extension to Ponneri not possible. May be new MTC Bus service from Ponneri Bus stand to Siruvapuri Murugan Temple ( via Ponneri railway station ) can be introduced which will be useful for public as Ponneri is the nearest railway station to reach Siruvapuri Murugan Temple. Distance is just around 13 km

Yes even Avadi people avoid using Avadi- Siruvapuri Bus via Tiruninravur and Tamaraipakkam is not suitable for Avadi people itself. Avadi to Redhills just 16 km.
