Since more neighborhood,resorts,hotels and families stay from perungudi to mahabalipuram ECR. They can build flying rail on top of Buckingham canal from thiruvanmiyur mrts onwards till mahabalipuram. And from mahabalipuram railway line can come to ground and connect with chengalpattu railway line and continue upto Cuddalore. This can be one idea for the survey. Implementation will take atleast 20 years.
