Where is our watershed. What is our watershed. Do we have watershed map for the three district thiruvallur, Kanchepuram and Chennai. How do we play our strom drainage. If these things are made public, then we will have solutions.

100% right. Like the Metro Rail network map, Greater Chennai Corporation should have an independent storm water / flood lines which is independent of the waste water drainage system. Without a map, nothing is serious. For far too long we have been dependent on road side drains. At least, new Government / GCC should demonstrate commitment by levying fines on roadside hotels / eateries, tea shops and garages that block the lines with their waste (including on pavements and roads); as if it was their front yard and personal property.

This is what happens when you are managed by irresponsible rulers who take last minute evasive actions to safeguard the dam while being drunk the whole time and barely avoided a disaster (dam outbreak) and casually call it as unavoidable. Highly irresponsible.
