Actually Figo is a very good car, one of the best handling car in its segment. When people maintain very poorly, drive without proper servicing, thrash the car, and then sell when it almost scrap ready and then people complain about brand. I have seen worst Volkswagen and Skoda cars than this car that are just literally useless and 2 times more expensive than Ford..

2014 ford figo new vehicle cost 6.5 lac , titanium cost 7.5 lac .. If engine repair cost 2 lac , seats , body etc ..if u calculate the cost its almost new car price... Thats y govt wants u to scrap 15 yesrs old vehicle, they know whats the quality of the car which has been produced in india.. Because 40% of small car price is tax , out of 7 lac onroad price, 1.5 lac road tax , insurance.. 2 lac rs gst .. Dealer gets 20k .. So 3.7 lac is the tax , company gets 3 lacs for a car . They hv to invest in R&D about 600-700 crore to make one single car.. How will they give u quality car . In europe bmw costs half of what it costs in india.. 20-25000 euros for bmw a6 which is twice better in quality.. In india only maruti alto , swift , Innova are good for buying second hand. Even if u get problem it can be repaired.. Thats the reason all quality products, cars , quality people are leaving india...
