Pretty much. There were good players but the play wasn't engaging, I would blame the coaches and marketing efforts by their own league. I'm new to it, so I just discovered Elena Delle Donne right when she's retiring. Guard skills in a 6'5" 180lb + female frame. Not flashy though, fundamental , just powerful with good post play and baseline jumpers and such. Powering through Lyme's disease and trying to keep at pro level

Before basketball on the Team USA under 17 level pulled her away from soccer, she started 6 games as a freshman. During those 6 games, she scored 26 goals! 26 goals in 6 games. She made first time all-state in soccer playing only 6 GAMES. She was the only freshman on the all-state team. After that, she focused on only basketball She's an athletic freak. She deinitely could have been a D1 and maybe national team level soccer player if she chose.

She's everything you'd want in a player. Not only does she put numbers on the board she elevates the entire game. Just look at how well her team has come together under her leadership.
