Not flashy though, fundamental , just powerful with good post play and baseline jumpers and such. Powering through Lyme's disease and trying to keep at pro level

Caitlin is definitely a real ONE!!! She deserves everything she is getting. The accolade’s, the awards. The problem merely stemmed from the fact that with all her college individual exploits, she didn’t win the championship. They just didn’t want to anoint her as the “second coming” of anything until she’s actually won something more than individual awards and accomplishments. That’s fair. This situation is similar to Eminem's story. Initially, no one wanted to sign him because he was a white rapper with blue eyes. But Dr. Dre took a chance on him and invested everything. Now, some critics downplay his success, claiming he's only considered one of the greatest because of his race. Similarly, in the WNBA, despite the majority of players being Black, some criticize her, calling her privileged because she’s white. I mentioned to my wife that this highlights why women sometimes struggle to advance because they can be their own worst critics. The WNBA's response just proves it. Instead of tearing each other down, they should celebrate the increased views, publicity, and revenue.

@rockmoore97662 күн бұрын
Ooooooohhhh, good point about being attractive to men ..... Men and money/business/opportunities etc disparity is real. That translates. Dang. Because she's not a lesbian she's a 'it could happen-(it's never gonna happen)'. But on the other hand, men in general will fantasize about anyone regardless, especially when it doesn't involve the other person, and when 'confronted' with lesbians I just hear (in my imagination) a bunch of dumb threesome jokes etc. But, being exciting to men to watch play, regardless of orientation, could translate into more seats sold, more money, better accommodations, more long term growth etc. And that not only goes for men, (money disparities aside) but also all kinds of orientation people and especially young basketball fans..... Especially in this 'TikTok' age of extreme boredom acting up extremely fast, if you can hold a youngsters especially, but anyone's really attention, then that translates into dollars...... And because she isn't a hurtful to others player, has class etc she's been a great role model for youngsters, and all, to look to. I don't think anyone didn't watch the WNBA because they were 'all' (CC isn't the only straight player is she really??) lesbian, they didn't watch because their games were slower and boring and bad shooting etc and couldn't compare to an NBA game in pure adrenaline rush as a fan.... I got frustrated as fuck trying to watch before, slow as molasses, never jump, miss 'easy' baskets (i, for the record can't hit ANY baskets) it was just plod plod shoot, again, again, again, oh finally in, now let's all plod to the other side..... And again, they do about a million times better than I would, but they look like slow slugs. Boring, boring, boring, like the players didn't half care so why would anyone who's a fan give half a fuck ya know ?

Love it - CC lets her game do the talking. She has that, “I’ve been there before” attitude. The only Clark/Carter “situation” is the media. There is no “situation” as far as CC is concerned. CC’s lack of verbal response just shows everyone how petty the rest of the WNBA is. FACT.

I never watched a wnba game until this year and several people I know are saying the same way. It is fun to watch Caitlin Clark!
@SamuelYap-w2g2 күн бұрын
True, I didn't start watching WNBA games until Clark came along. Take away AJ Wilson, Reese, Taurasi, Stewart, Ionescu, etc., and the WNBA would just coast along. Take away Clark, and the WNBA will sink back to its accustomed usual doldrum.

Class, pure and simple. CC is bringing so much to the table and the other crybabies aren't happy. She doesn't lower herself to their standards and does her talking in the court. She's everything you'd want in a player. Not only does she put numbers on the board she elevates the entire game. Just look at how well her team has come together under her leadership. I'm looking forward to her making this game people want to watch.

Carter is a great basketball player, but her attitude, & everything negative about her is going to keep her from having a successful, longstanding career in the league.

Nobody ever heard of Carter till she threw the body block.

Caitlyn is for WNBA what Shohei is for baseball right now. Such generational talents are to be cherished, not diminished

The hatred of Caitlyn is making her very tough, and that will be her armor.

Clark did all of it with ruthless and relentless defense and hacking employed on her. Amazing.
@johnmckinney5583Күн бұрын
So instead of throwing racism and hate towards Caitlin because she brought light to the WNBA, maybe they should take the opportunity to shine and show what they're really made of. Fans would love to see actual basketball and real players.

What I want to know is - What is it going to take to get a player expelled that deliberately goes for Caitlin's eyes? Are they waiting for her to be bleeding on the court?
@gordonmulligan2546Күн бұрын
Congratulations Caitlin, you definitely deserve it. Keep working on your game and let the others complain.

it would not surprise me in the least if the Indiana fever win the championship this year.. if Caitlin can stay healthy? she will bring her team mates game up three levels! and that will be the reason they win.. they will play as a team at the highest level! and together, they will be a serious force to be reckoned with and very capable of pulling off the big wins
@newalchemy97422 күн бұрын
Not going to happen this year, but by year 3 or 4, she's going to be dominating the league and will be wearing the shit out of these women that have been hating on and dismissing her.

She is the phenom, excelsior in basketball..amazing player, can't compare to ????well her games tell the whole story...love this young pleasing personality...they, THE BLACK PLAYERS are all jealous, envious and can't cope with CC. LOL

Can’t they keep your life out of the game and focus on skill?
@MeyersTJ12 күн бұрын
Of course they can. But they never will because these hateful players know full well that their hate for Clark is pretty much the only reason their names are being mentioned. They want this to go on for Clark's entire career because it keeps people mentioning THEIR names.

How can these other players hate Clark when she is clearly bringing more money and more fans to your sport. That’s like telling your Job that you don’t want a potential pay raise. 😂
