My first thought when watching was that the nesting dolls can be seen as her delving deeper into things from when she was younger. For me, the pandemic brought many things to surface for me, and I've been learning to peel back my own layers and start healing things from my childhood. I related to the line "Miss the future so bad, I wish that we could go back" so much. I have spent so much of my life being afraid of losing everything that sometimes I wish I could go back to the time where I could envision a future that's bright and happy. And with the social distancing and self-isolation that happened, things got very hard. When you're left to be by yourself in times when you should be together with those you love, things can start to feel bleak and like your entire foundation is shaking. It can feel like an endless tunnel, and it's hard to find the light. I admire Chungha so much, and love that her music is so amazing while also conveying a message that so many people can relate to!
