Being that I grew up in the uk and was only four when this was broadcast, I’m seeing these clips for the first time this evening and have watched 6 or seven so far, the quality of the production and the arrangements are incredible. US tv from the 60s and 70s is unbeatable, lightyears ahead of anything we had in England. I’ve become such a huge fan of the Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett shows and now this. Absolutely brilliant.

Cher is a legend!! I remember loving watching her weekly show. She’s so beautiful and incredibly talented. Look how beautiful she is tall along with the pointer sisters! Her wardrobe was always the eye catcher. Beautiful exotic chic outfits. There were hardly any dresses like hers with the other celebrities. Most were wearing blaah dresses while Cher wore sexy exotic sheer dresses. I’ll never forget her wardrobes!
