I can appreciate that these are both intelligent people and that Sharp was doing his best to open up the conversation where they could speak to the 'dark side' of the industry, but he was patronizing her by making assumptions about her lifestyle, the way she spends her money, her personal sex life, doubting that she had no desire to be a parent.. speaking down to her and talking over her. I think that part of the reason why Cherie does so well in interviews is because she actually had a life before going into porn. As a massage therapist, you have to know how to interact with customers and she was a little older when she started. That's not to say that some of the younger talent doesn't have some moxie and maturity about them but you can tell that Cherie had wisdom before diving into porn.
