Qatar is an extremely good team. So fast on the sand. Such a fast spike and beautiful sets. Watched them in the Olympics what a great team. Go USA.

Sander is far too small of a blocker for international beach vb. He and Crabb can do fine on the AVP, but internationally they both need a big block to play behind... In reality they are both defensive players who should have a 6'8 blocker with hands

It's true 👍🏼 if Sander played with Dalhausser or Benesh then we'd be internationally top 5 or 10. Sander is phenomenal

They served at Crabb like twice and then switched to Sanders really quickly.

Crabb can't hang at this level he is to small to hit enough his shots at this level are easy to gobble up

Well and truly schooled. All The American teams in general need to upgrade their style of play. It’s literally outdated, old school. All the top teams have pretty impeccable setting hands too. Daulhaser and T.Crabb together might have a chance on their day. Not that Sander is not a great exponent of indoor and a very good Beach Player. But he’ll need to grind out some serious off season(s) of work and determination to attain “great” on the sand. where’s the US college beach mens teams ? Like a Kloth and Nuss version? I’m sure they’re there..

Unfortunately Mens Sand Volleyball hasn’t been introduced Collegiate in th US yet. Can’t wait till it does, that would be very exciting to watch!

@@hannahmarie3223 I’d say it is indicative of the current US mens station within International Beach volleyball at this time. The rest of the world in investing great amounts of time and energy into their squads. If they want to see the next dominant style Andy Mol kind of athletes emerge then they need to be completing from Freshmen

@@musicboise208 true. I don’t think Sander is a Karch. Even though he played as a kid. Karch always dominated from kid to adult. It was just who he was. And it’s well and truly now officially a new era of size and athleticism.

Not really sure what you're talking about. The Qatar team is borderline with their overhand digs on multiple plays. Much of their advantage comes from being tall with crazy long arms rather than a style of play. You forget the only reason Crabb wasn't an Olympian is because of Covid. Men's beach volleyball is not an NCAA sport, so all versions are club teams with limited resources. There essentially is no men's collegiate beach volleyball.

Him and Dalhausser are both 6'9 and Crabb is 6' and Sander 6'4 it was a close match not destroyed. Taylor Crabb has 1 FIVB gold at 6' lol 😆 Trevor and Tri won gold in fivb China. Dalhausser you can start counting how many golds he collected including Olympics. He's the GOAT end of story

AVP players are just not cut out for big time spike crush FIVB beach volleyball. The FIVB plays at a whole other level similar to the days of Karch King Kent Stokie Sinjin Liola AJ Johnson Dodd.. Today's crop of male AVP ballers hang around with woman AVP players too much and as we see their soft shots aint gunna cut it at this level... The only hope we have would be Dalhausser and Casey Patterson both big time hitters and blockers.. AVP men will continue to be humiliated on the FIVB tour until they separate themselves and stop sharing their court with woman
