What a wonderful tribute... thank you! Dana and I grew up a couple blocks apart, and went to elementary, junior high and high school together in Upper Arlington, OH. I've lived in Kansas City now for 30+ years and have enjoyed watching his success, remembering his transformation through football. His hearty laugh still rings in my memories. My thoughts and prayers to his family.

I'm so sorry for your loss Fitz. 😢 That's a great message about telling people you love them. My grandpa was a WW2 vet and while a warm, caring and loving man, he never was the type to say "I love you" The last time I talked to him was two days before he died. We talked for about an hour and when it was time to hang up, I said our own little version of goodbye we always said. Then he responded with "I love you too buddy." I will forever be grateful for that gift.

Nice heart felt tribute. These are the ones that are hard to understand, but as you pointed out God has a plan for all of us. Sometimes it may be awhile down the road before it is revealed to us. Thank you for the reminder that we need to cherish the moments with loved ones and never be afraid to tell them we love them. God bless you Fitz and know we love you.

I went to school with Winston my freshmen year at Manhattan high school he was an awesome guy, I never met Dana but I enjoyed when we had him coaching at K state and watching Winston play for the Cats they were both great and I was Sad when they left but aside from that prayers for the family it has to be a rough time sending love to you guys. We love you too Fitz like you said God has a plan it isn't your time. Thank you for everything you do for the Cats man. K State means family and family means Noone left behind ❤

At 73 I've seen so many come and go, my parents, my brother, there were so many including 17 blood aunts & uncles and their spouses. There were so many things that should have taken me. I often wonder why I'm still here. In the end we each have our own time. IMO Our biggest test in life is watching those we love go before us. It's their memory is what lives on.

Don't blame anyone on anything, believe it or not, we all choose our exit time and it's in Creator's hands. We all come in with contracts on about everything along with karma to amend. Same with what we choose to go through as a dis-ease but guess what, that is going to be changing. And know that things are changing for humanity, which is what is going on in this world - we are graduating - but first you have to take out the trash and let go of what no longer serves. Thank you for the video and I know it was difficult for you to go through this but we attract those around us who assist all of us in being better humans. Thank you and don't feel guilty, it's all somewhat predetermined but with our free will...and remember, we are everlasting life, we just change uniforms.

That sucks. Way too young. God does have a plan but cancer nor any other disease or sickness is from him. My mom passed in June and we had the funeral on my birthday actually, again too young. John 10:10 Jesus tells us The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. Praying for his family and you and all his friends. I obviously didn’t know him beyond cheering Kstate football when he was on the coaching staff but fans grow to love these people too.
@LifeofFitz8 күн бұрын
You may be right but I believe my cancer wasn't by chance. I truly believe I was meant to spread a message about early detection of prostate cancer in order to save someone or someones with a greater purpose in a grand plan beyond my understanding. Maybe it's may way of coping but I will continue to shout my message from the highest mountains possible.
