Fall is an excellent time to trout fish in Cherokee. Gone are the crowds of summer, water levels have subsided, cooler temperatures have prevailed and weekly trout plants continue. For many trout anglers is the favorite time of year to visit the Cherokee Reservation. In this episode of Pautzke Outdoors we spent 24 hours bouncing from creek to creek in search of rainbow and brook trout and invite you to join us on the adventure.
Editor’s Note: A North Carolina fishing license isn’t required to fish in Cherokee. However, a tribal permit is. They are $10 per day and come with a whopping 10-fish limit. For more information please visit www.fishcherokee.com or / fish-cherokee .
