Oh yes the Dominate...and the cascading II-V’s, really a sweet progression. I find this tune challenging for some reason, even though it’s not really a hard melody. Something to work on - add it to my list! Thanks BG.

I was wondering for a long time whatever happened to Pat Martino's guitar.
@brucegregori

This guitar is a bambino. Pat played his own model which is a solid body.

@@brucegregori Now, i cna wonder whatever happened to jazz players with a sense of humor. Is this Pat Martino's olid body? kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqKaZWWQnL92aJo

@@Malcolm.Y This was Pat's guitar he designed with Gibson. Bob Benedetto took this design and used it for the Bambino and made it fully hollow without the F-holes. But Pat preferred a solid body. So they came up with the Pat Martino guitar. They are like bigger version of a Les Paul which is what he liked best.

Hey Bruce, great video. I have been trying to figure out Cherokee by ear for some time now but couldn't manage to get further than the melody. Any tips for transcribing chords by ear? What should I be listening for in the recordings? Also are there any examples you might be able to recommend to help me practice this ability to learn chords and changes by ear? Thanks and once again, wonderful video. Your production is fantastic.
