Same but for my grandfather he adopted me. I followed him everywhere till I was 4 when he passed sadly. He was my father in my eyes. Wish I could ask him questions and still learn from him. He coded the b12 and worked for nasa was a cheif in the blue Cherokee tribe b4 all that. Everything I do is for him.

Hearing brother hothouse talk reminds me of my uncle David’s calm cadence. Honestly most folk of modest means grew up that way in old Oklahoma. Should the Lord tarry I hope to show my girls some of that living that belong and pertain to their roots. Wado

I loved the story about climbing a tree and everybody pull it down and let someone ride it back up. My grandpa Thomas Patterson has showed me that all my life. He called it "skinning a cat". Sad I never got to meet Blue. Heard stories about him my entire life growing up from Thomas and Patsy Patterson my grandma and grandpa.

Bless you Blue Hothouse. My dad was Bob Ford. My granny Lucy lived on Killer Mountain before she passed away, and my dad and uncle used to tell me stories about growing up with you. Sounds like some of the same stories you are telling here.

The things mr hothouse spoke of a bout climbing the tree and some one cutting the tree down my mother talked about her and her brother`s would do that, also some one would hang tightly onto a tree while the other kids held the tree bent over and then release`ing it, and she would tell us all about the thing`s she and her sister and brother`s would do to intertain they`selves listening to these stories of the elder`s bring back alot of memeries about my momma`s stories. she also loved to tell us about big bill and little bill pathkiller would get in an argument and end up getting in rock fight`s she said they would stand off about 20 feet apart and throw rock`s at each other , said it was funny to watch one would throw a rock and it would go wizing by the others ear back and forth it would go untill they got tired of it.
