Cherri bomb are so different to hey violet, thats why they changed thier name, now they have a guy and the singer has changed and their style and sound has changed, which obiously good for them if they are happy, but i prefer the 'cherri bomb' phase instead.

casey "the guys" doesn't sing, btw and I don't think it was him tbh bc his taste in in music in music's like oldies and stuff, nia miranda and rena all wanted to do something else that's why they came to the decision to move on without julia. They're still together although Julia (black hair) isn't with them anymore. They have a guy named Casey doing her guitar part now and doing backing vocals. Rena (dreads) is now alternating lead vocals with Miranda (blonde) and Nia (red hair) is still doing her drumming thing. Nia and Rena are sisters by the way. Nia is two years older than Rena.

mafer there are lots of rock bands that are household names. You don’t have to change your sound, you just have to be good at what you do. They had this song on the Avengers album for crying out loud. They were going somewhere. And they were only teenagers (and they still are). They still had time. Truth is they couldn’t wait for fame and took the easy way into it.

I hate how so many people are shitting on hey violet for changing their sound when Julia did the exact same thing. But whatever. People are entitled to say what they want, I guess. I just hate how many are attacking hey violet over drama from years ago when they were like 13-15. No one is a saint at that age and people shouldn't always believe what they see online. I've seen so many people get mad over drama with hv that has no actual foundation. No evidence. It stems from one person who disliked hv so much that they started a rumor and added links as proof (links that were false anyway) and now hv gets so much hate. Is it so hard to just enjoy music?

idkava so this is a very late response sorry, you probably don't care anymore! But I think that they've all matured like Rena is 13/14 here and she's 18 now so obviously she's grown up. Their live sound is still kind of rock but I guess they just grew out of their pop punk phase
