Reina!! Wow you guys did Nagoya Hanami proud! ...and as always you showcase the food so well. I still remember arriving in Nagoya over 20 years ago and hearing grown men tell me how much they loved "Cherry Blossom viewing". I thought to myself...wow...that's a little weird. Looking at flowers just wasn't something another grown man had ever said to me that they enjoyed doing. ...then April rolled around...wow... Not only are they so ridiculously beautiful...the whole country kicks off their shoes and parties like new years for 2 weeks. Street vendors selling awesome food, elderly couples strolling and holding hands...You really see people live in the moment and soak in every second. You only live once...our time here is fleeting...just like the cherry blossoms. Such a magical time to visit Japan. If you're thinking of going...just book the tickets. You'll remember it for the rest of your life. Also for those in and around Nagoya looking for another great place to view Cherry Blossoms...Gojogawa in Iwakura just up the Meitetsu Inuyama line...they always do a great job.
