So true about the 🍋 s. I am also European, Macedonian actually, and it's not about the looks at all when picking veggies/fruits. Sometimes the funkiest looking one could be the sweetest and juciest of them all. I especially apply that rule when I buy apples. You know, sometimes when an apple has like a brownish part of the peel (which happens because it has been glued to the tree trunk while growing), it is the sweetest apple. And it's the one I am picking from the rest that look prettier. 🤗

Hi Laura...Happy Summer to you! That ice cream looks so rich and yummy! You know what I was thinking, you could make it a little "boozy" by adding a bit of cherry wine or liqueur to the cherry compote. Or just make the fruit mixture to top regular vanilla ice cream, with homemade hot fudge sauce and whipped cream; a spin on Black Forest cake! Enjoy the "Heat" while eating 🍦

Oh my great golly molly girl! Can we be friends? I have got to make this! For now to save time, I think I’m going to try it with jarred candied cherries since I have a new jar of them in my pantry. Once I tried making a sorbet with my blender by adding frozen blueberries and fresh cream but it liquefied in my blender so I poured it into an ice cream container. Then put it the freezer, but it then completely froze rock solid. I could not scoop it and therefore had to toss it out. It was an epic fail!
