There's just something quite lovely about old English country houses - the faded grandeur, in a modern house I'd be worried if paintwork was chipped, worn carpet but in a character property these things just look comfortable, lived in and beautiful.

I have 3 of Ros Byam Shaw's books, have had them for years and go through them again and again. They never fail to inspire.....kind of like your videos! Now I totally get why I like your vlogs....they are like her books brought to life:). Keep up the great work Cherry.

Cherry, that was so fun❣️❣️Speaking of life in a rural environment, we have have chicken feathers being tracked in, even a slug 🐌 on a furry paw on the couch and tons of pine needles everywhere, etc! This was such a lovely surprise, you popping up here on a Wednesday. I still have your little book of peace somewhere. I really need to look at it. My week hasn't gone as planned. Like yours, it's really busy. I'm hoping to get back on track now. I hate admin too 😒 I love the kitchen book, I have a bit of a kitchen obsession, I think.
