I cannot express how much i needed this. Had an orchestra performance today and someone (not sure who) stepped on my //newly bought// cello bow. Not me having to go back to the music store thats //an hour// away and having to tell my music guy that the bow i bought from him is already broken. I also had to rush to the storage room to borrow a bow from our conductor because the beginner group had just finished playing their portion (right as i had noticed what happened) before my group had to go back on the stage for the symphonic portion of the concert. So i had to play while out of breath, but still make it so my section could hear me, as im cello section leader. Had a full mental breakdown after the concert and my best friends from the violin section had to coax me out of a corner after the concert to go get DQ with the rest of the band/orchestra. Sorry for the rant. I really needed to let this out though.

That’s true. And tbh I guess bows aren’t terribly expensive compared to some other equipment. Heck, a case for said instrument (at least a good quality one) is or can be almost 10 times as expensive. So I’m glad it was one of the cheaper pieces of equipment.
