One of my best mates is what most would consider a stereotypical chav. Wears the clothes, speaks the language, raised in a bad neighbourhood and stands up for himself. I don't consider him a chav because of the great person he is, and how he wouldn't hurt anyone who didn't deserve it or unless in self-defense. I don't talk and dress like a "Chav", but I've thrown punches and stood up for myself. It doesn't make me a Chav or a bad person. Forget where Cheryl's from and listen to the woman first.

Being from a certain type of house or a certain area does not make you a Chav. Nor does throwing one punch while having too much to drink. She threw a punch close to a decade ago, she was bullied herself, she wasnt A bully. A doubt she was in a proper fight before and has definately not been in one since. To me a chav is a personality, and a language. Everyone I've met who I consider a Chav is a nasty piece of work, reguardless of where they're from or what they wear. Cheryl isn't that person...
