Chesapeake Shores: Jesse Metcalfe on Abby and Trace Relationship DRAMA And If They're "Endgame"

ET spoke with the actor ahead of the season 4 premiere of 'Chesapeake Shores,' airing Aug. 25 on Hallmark Channel. Jesse opened up about the complicated dynamic between Trace and Abby, and teased their new love interests this season. In real life, Jesse is happily engaged to his fiancee, Cara Santana, who he praised as his biggest cheerleader. The pair hasn't set a date to wed yet -- Jesse explained why.

Wow, love the interview. Inteligent with a super sense of humour.. love your songs and your great acting skill. Lisbon is just starting serie 4 and sadly learned that you will be leaving....so not sure will be seeing serie 5 till the end. You just cannot end such a well played love story. It was beautifully acted and to end it, will kill the rest of the show. It has been a long time since I have seen such chemistry in a love story. It was so real.I will be watching your other movies on Tv, but that doed not mean I am not sorry to see you leave the show. Bert of luck to your career. We will always support you. Abby is depressed because Trace is not making his move more than of his sweet words. I hope in season 5 maybe Trace will propose to Abby. Because if you could see the ex-husband of Abby have been engaged 2 times already. Then, brother and sister of Abby was engaged. Abby already express her wants to Trace in pool episode.She wants to be his family and be together. Then nothing happened. So sad! No move.Trace have no plans at all of asking abby to marry him.
