I have seen the glass to act a sound barrier before. Good idea to not lose the view of the pasture. Very nice setup overall.

Love the pond! Really enjoy your channel and content you put out. Can’t wait to have a pond of my own. I keep aquariums and if you add bacteria before fish you have to throw just a little bit of food in to break down for the bacteria to consume. Imagine it’s the same for a pond but your method is sound for sure. Thanks for all your hard work!

Do you normally always use solid blocks rather than hollow and then filled with concrete? Looking to build a 2500 gallon pond and was recommended hollow blocks, but would save a lot of money solids are just as good. Lovely koi and pond by the way!

I work for a glass company and we built an all glass vestibule that sticks out of the building. We now have a monthly occurrence of birds flying into the glass. You should expect dead birds in your pond with that tall glass wall.

A stunning pond and great setup, very impressive. Do is a favour Tim and get a dead cat for your camera microphone, that wind spoiled the video.

I don’t want to get too tech, will see how it goes. If I just take my phone I can just do them, if I have to take other equipment I’ll just forget anyway and won’t be bothered about doing them

How do you work out how many litres/gallons are in a pond. I’m looking at building one in my garden that’s 180cm x 108cm with a height of 60cm

What is the plan for cladding the wall (near blade) now it’s full. Surely they should have done that before adding fish.
@TimWaddington4 жыл бұрын
Why? It just screws on
@brianmoan4 жыл бұрын
Quality Nishikigoi Oh, so the cladding is screwed on. That makes sense. I was thinking it was put on in a similar fashion to tiles.
@wilsontimify4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tim, amazing pond congrats! What sort of total cost are you looking at for something like this? Cheers :)

I don’t know mate, we supplied the equipment and fibreglassing only.

Hi we are planning to build a 19x8 and 5 feet deep pond. How thick should our fiber glass be?

Its 3ft above ground by the way. Great videos
@MMaximus264 жыл бұрын
Where can I order the glass from?
@charles29cc4 жыл бұрын
I thought this would of had more than two bottom drains, what’s the pull on a single bottom drain area wise anyone know ?
@TimWaddington4 жыл бұрын
What does the pull matter? The filtration will dictate the flow.
@charles29cc4 жыл бұрын
What I was asking was, I’m sure a 4” drain can only do a certain area/radius until it becomes to large of a area for that one drain. Hence why people have multiple drains. I would of thought a pond of this scale would have more than the two drains? But that’s me just guessing, hence why I asked ..
