As far as I remember, levels 1-3 starts committing suicides on their own. All you gotta do is protect your piece and wait and it'll do something extremely stupid.

Check his castle until you get him into a corner, then cover your piece so that he can't kill it. And starting with your knights will help start up the game too. The knights throw around the enemy pieces so that you can attack them individually instead of having to contend with computer defensive strategies. :P

At 6:54 you missed a quick finish. Treat that queen in the middle like a rook/castle and shoot it to the side of the board. That catches his king the same way you would if you had 2 rooks/castles.
