When the world no.1 blunders on move no.8 | Arjun Erigaisi vs Hou Yifan

Arjun Erigaisi took on World no.1 Hou Yifan in round 3 of the Satty Zhuldyz Blitz. The time control was 3 mins + 2 seconds increment per move. It was a normal English opening and Yifan made the most normal 8th move. And all of a sudden it went completely haywire. Would Arjun find that difficult move? Apart from Re6 I believe Arjun had control throughout the game. His choice to trade the queens was obvious and even though the engine disagrees I think it's the best practical choice. The endgame is winning, not to mention the knight is in a perfect place to deliver forks and pick up material. All and all, I'd say it was a pretty clinical win after the blunder.

But ur argument that since they both have different body, their brains also should be different, is a little flawed. Today, men and women occupy some of the. very high positions in the corporate sector, govt institutions and also public life. And these aren't exceptions, there are large women leaders in corporate sector (even in India) The main reason I believe women not reaching same level in Chess is the participation of women in men's field.
