For those having trouble with the wall in the entrance cave to go to WENUT you have to complete a side quest given by MASSEIRA (blind guy) from the TANIT CAMP, after that is completed you'll get "THE FALCON'S HUNT" quest

For anyone who cannot activate The king and oasis, and already finished FIRST falcon quest, back to the place and talk again to person who give you the quest. The quest has multiple part, once the 2nd one done, it can be activated. hope it will help

If you can't find the activation device , you need to do the lost apocalypse quest , the last two will spawn.

THANK YOU. I spent 3 days hunting through videos and forum posts trying to find some of these chess pieces/activators. I had cleared quests and the chests didn't spawn. So imwas bugged/stuck. This allowed me to find them in alternate places. While they were definitely not in the same order/place, going through the video I found SOMETHING and was eventually able to clear this all out. Why is this video not first in the list KZbin. WTH.

For some reason, the mausoleum chess piece in mine is not lit. I also didntt find the key when I went back to the mausoleum. I also didn't find the key on the way to the oasis. Did i miss anything? EDIT: the time i posted this i was still in the process of finishing the falcon quest, and haven't done the jeht-benben one. Now that they're done, the last 2 peices isn't still showing up. Liloupar also didn't start a dialogue.

u r missing a prerequisite world quest that starts by visiting statue of 7 near aru village.. ( Remember teleport to statue of 7 near aru village not normal teleporter near it )

I still wonder what's with that 'this should be the place the light beam pointed to!' I would be glad to actually understand what was the way the player was meant to find all these devices like after finishing the chess puzzle there should be something that shows the player where the devices are but I didn't see anything like that...

from what i understood all the structures that appear after installing chess pieces are actually miniature versions of all the big ones in-game, and the light beam part, notice how theres light coming out from the small structures where you need to install? you find the activation pieces in that spot in the actual big structures so they are telling you where you can find you just need to find where these structures are all located in the game :)

I just came back to genshin. I finished Natlan 5.0 -> Chasm -> Sumeru Desert 3.1, then I suddenly remembered why I quit before. I hate Sumeru exploration lol. Skipped to doing Fontaine 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, and 4.6 -> Chenyu -> to now 3.4 :(

I did the falcon quest but nothing happened when I put the chess pieces in. I found 5 of the 7 activation pieces but King Deshret's mausoleum and Mt. Damavand aren't there.

There're actually three parts of Falcon quests. The last one (The Fallen Falcon) demands you to go through a day reset to be available. It should be given by the same NPC.

I don't find the 3rd and 7th one I probably missed something somewhere. Cannot activate the 2 towers. Update: Went back to Masseirra since someone mentioned there's supposed to be 3 falcon quest and I only did 2. Lo and behold, Masseira did have an exclamation point on him, the new quest will have you fight with Tahdla. Once done, the Apocalypse Lost world quest was triggered. Then I just went back to points 3 & 7 and was able to find the keys.

after completing the quest here and activating all the pieces you come back here and Paimon will say something among the lines of ''this place is weird'' + a weird wind-like animations on all pieces everytime you teleport here. I think we need to do something more here but I can't find what it is. All the pieces are ''triggerable'' but for what? And why the wind animation?

Aww, is that it?! I thought I had missed something. Well, little know fact if useless information. Thise models are smaller replicas of the actual statues around the map. If you touch them and choose to activate the piece, you'll be teleported to the large or actual version on the map. So it's basically a shortcut to most temples etc on the map.

I think I also had to finish all quests with Sorush unless I confused it with something else (you know my og comment is from 10 months ago, the memory do be foggy)

there is another quest that we have to complete after that falcon's hunt after a day (in game) which is called the fallen falcon and is triggered with masseira again, but yeah there is no indicator for the quest on map for me 😞 im glad i finally figured it out

Is there anything special about using these statues to teleport? The Apocalypse Lost quest lets you teleport using one and it unlocks a new area. Idk about the others.
