Join us a little later than normal for our first Uk theme park trip of 2023 to Chessington World of Adventures, where belatedly we experience the brand new World of Jumanji and Chessington's first inverting rollercoaster Mandrill Mayhem.

Chessington looks like so much fun but the Mandrill won't be on my to-do list, I can't go backwards! But looks like there are plenty of other rides. Shame they ran out of jacket potatoes! I love all the animals, wonder if the rhinos will be back. Thanks for sharing your great day out!

Mandrill isn't very intense but like you I don’t like going backwards either. Fingers crossed the rhinos return as it really takes from the experience. Thanks for watching.

Glad to have our Mandrill suspicions confirmed. We had already decided to skip it until the throughput issue with the gates is sorted so glad we aren't missing much. Will probably drop down when Exodus opens. Glad to see you back on park somewhere though. Have a good summer!

Yes Mandrill Mayhem was a little disappointing but can’t deny Chessington have done an excellent job of theming the complete land even if the other two rides are something we don’t care for. As for the summer we will definitely being visiting the usual theme park suspects. Thanks as always guys. Happy Summer Holidays 😀
