The Zeno Clash games may be good to take inspiration from for Turnip28 figures. Zeno Clash 1, 2 and the prequel Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. There's stuff like tiny anvils with faces on sticks as makeshift hammers, sword clubs made from bones and a pelvis for the guard, people and the environments seem to slap whatevery they like and does the job onto themselves without regard for effectiveness, and everyone's a unique flavor of freak.
