Wanted to sleep, but I happened to watch the whole thing instead... and wow. So satisfying to see you win the first 4 games under 20 moves, especially with such a calm composure. No fancy moves, no book traps, just elegant thinking. Thank you for the "awakeness", Jerry :)
@ZenonSethG9 ай бұрын
That 2nd game checkmate was very satisfying and educational. A pawn so deep in your territory should not be ignored like your opponent did.

In the first game, 7. hxg4! Qxh1 8. Ne2 followed by 9. Ng3 trapping the queen is a really satisfying line
@samtugendhaft26789 ай бұрын
Thank you. Watching the video I had vague memories of this line and that you could get away with hxg4 but couldn’t remember if it was in the exact position and how the line went.
@Jonas-wd8pl9 ай бұрын
what about black playing 8. … Nh5 sacrificing the knight but getting the queen out?
@samtugendhaft26789 ай бұрын
@@Jonas-wd8pl simply gxh5 Qxh5 and either Ng3 or Nf4, developing with tempo. White has two pieces for a rook and a massive lead in development. White should be winning.
@1forlive19998 ай бұрын
Not really tho. Ne2 Qh5 Ng3 and the Queen just get away. White is indeed went ahead on development but black have a Rook and a safer King, not to mention you can actually castle Queen side and attack on H file
@samtugendhaft26788 ай бұрын
@@1forlive1999 there’s a pawn on g4 after hxg4, Qh5 just drops the queen
