Wesley your shoulders chest and arms are looking almost 90's Kevin levrone like..slight more tricep width to go. Keep up the good work bud
@adamek97506 жыл бұрын
Zane H not even close. Levrone is way better in the arms.
@robby123206 жыл бұрын
Wesley's insertions and muscle bellies sure are great, but don't underestimate the size of an open class bodybuilder like Levrone compared to a tall, weight limited bodybuilder like Wesley.
@zaneh25866 жыл бұрын
I agree with that but what I meant was the proportions and shape to his upper body are similar not size. Extra width on the triceps and he'd have a very similar shape. But that's just my objective opinion some might have the same and some might not that's bodybuilding

Hi Wesley! Just a question, please reply on it. What is the reason to combine Chest and Triceps? If follow to DY scheme it's a better to combine Chest with Biceps and Back with Triceps. What is your opinion regarding 3-days per week training routine? What could be the program in common in such case? Tnx in advance for reply!
@olavhl6 жыл бұрын
In the bench you should always keep your hand right over your elbow, so the force go right through the forearm. So what your are doing is going to hurt your wrist and elbow long term. Stay safe.

Not to be a hater but sometimes it's better to go 20kg lighter, touch chest and stop when you fail and no more than 1 extra rep with spotter. I personally don't think anyone below elite level should even consider going to absolute failure since they have no control over their core to keep it properly braced through the struggle and therefor can damage the lower back.

Hey Wesley, nice content as always. I have a question, for you and why not for everyone that see it. Every time I do chest press, I can feel my back also, and I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Shoulders are pulled back, chest up, the bar lowered until is touching my chest, grip is wide. How is this possible? I feel like I'm working also my back when doing chest workout :D.
@Matt-ey7pk6 жыл бұрын
When doing a bench press your upper back and legs are there to support you. By pulling your shoulder blades down and back you're using your lats/traps/rhomboids. If you feel your back as well you're doing good.

@thegriffinsden33836 жыл бұрын
You need both if you want to continue to grow. You should be working out with a heavy enough weight and rep range to guarantee you will get a pump especially if you do negatives/eccentrics slowly. Go for like 60% of your 1rep max till failure 1 set shoot for at least 15 to 18 reps lower the negative/eccentric portion slow 4 seconds. If you can do 18 + reps next workout add 10 pounds to the bar (progressive overload). You can increase progressive overload by more tension or volume. You get the pump from time under tension and contraction so you have to find a sweet spot in intensity and volume. For size really focus on slow eccentrics/negatives because the negative portion of the lift is what actually stretches/lengthens the muscles which causes the maximum amount of mechanical damage which is what heals to become stronger/bigger. Hope this helps.
