I was a very young girl when I came up to go to bed she was on her knees praying (so I knew not to disturb her) she would pray and After saying my prayers I would go asleep (she would still be praying. In the morning when I awaken she would be on her knees still praying. So in my mind she didn't sleep 😅😅, I'm so grateful for those prayers. Hallelujah

Y'know what, I'm not ashamed that I'm not a religious person, but I do sometimes wish I still had faith like I did. I was born and raised Catholic but never really felt the Lord speak to me in Mass... But gospel music like this? 🙏🏽 I swear, music is God's way of helping us communicate our struggles and virtues with each other. Whether you believe or not, this right here is power. It's power in the hands of the people, and it's being used to connect and heal. I say this as someone that has lost their faith: hold onto yours, because the world is cold and dark and is enlightened by those around us that love us with no strings attached. God bless.

Oh, this song makes me cry. My beloved mother died at the age of 81 on Sept. 14, 2023. Thank God , for I know she is in heaven with my father in accordance with John 3: 16. I love you all mothers out there!

My mother made her transition at 6:37 March 14th 2020. She went home saying thank you Jesus. I was holding her hands. I feel so guilty because she prayed all the time and l always got angry because she allowed people to say or do anything ugly to her. Moma said vengeance is mine saith the Lord. Mother is gone now and l though she was weak but what l didn't know she was a angel and GOD called her home. I am 59 yes old but l feel like a teen missing my love, my mom. Appreciate your mother while you can. I miss my momma.

I too lost my mother 3 years ago and she died calling upon the Lord. I used to get upset with my mom because she let a lot of things slide, but as I got older and came into the knowledge of GOD, it takes more strength to refrain from fighting, or seeking revenge than it is to cuss someone out, etc. I know my mother prayed for us knuckleheads CONSTANTLY! Now I do the same for my children and grandchildren.

I still hear my Mom Praying for her family. She lived to see 5 generations. We knew where our Mother was, sitting in her rocking chair reading the Bible. I don’t care how many times you read the Bible, you learn something new every time. My Mom is “Safe in the Arms of Jesus “, December 20, 2009. She died on her Great Granddaughter birthday. Her Great granddaughter was baptized on her birthday. My Mom was 91 years 9 months and 3 weeks old when the Lord took her home. She called me the day before she died and my last words to my Mom were “I Love You “. and she said I Love You Too. If I could just write my Mom’s life story what a testament it would be. I remember at 9 years old; I heard my Mama(affectionately known as Madea), praying for me and my 12 other siblings. And 53 years later; I can still hear that sweet, gentle and comforting voice, praying. This song brought a flood of tears from my eyes. How I wish she was still here. But I remember my mama who was affectionately nicknamed Miss Doll, Mama Doll, and Doll Baby. She was the mother of 14 children, 8 girls 6 boys, and guess what? I'm the baby of them all at 73. All have gone on now to be with The Lord and Mom and Dad . We were a gospel singing family then with some being pianists and organists. I was in the bed with her while she was dying and holding my hand ,I am 75 now and Lord knows everything she told me I remember. I was in the 3rd. grade when she told me she was leaving me and going home I thank God for all my blessings I know Momma is still praying for me. I cant relate bcuz my grandma was real modest about it, i never heard her pray much bcuz she prayed behind closed doors. Alone hidden, like in her closet. When no one was around. And every morning i was there we had to study. Mostly proverbs. And even at 90 she still studies every morning. Shes a biblical genius. A lifetime of church & bible study and atleast 1000 in depth books about each chapter. She sits at a desk in front of an entire wall of religious books. She had prayer partner she prayed with in the early morning, and she did noonday prayer at the church, Tuesday's and Friday's. And we had prayer 🙏 and bible study at home on Wednesday night. It has been 20 years this may that she left this world to be in heaven her rightful place. I miss her so much, but she is never forgotten. I came across this song. Love it and I too remember my mother praying. It seem to have been very special on Sunday morning before we went to Sunday School and Church. My Lord this touched me. I woke up this morning around 4-5 am and decided to download a radio app to listen to G-Praise 106.3fm here in Florida as I slept. When I was finished downloading I couldn't find my station but this song was playing and I just busted out crying. My wonderful mother went home in January of 2022 and it's been such a painful ride trying to take care of my father and deal with business she took care of with ease. This song is EVERYTHING my mother was and it just wrapped me in love as I listened. I still hear Momma praying 🙌🙌🙌 for me. My beloved mother went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020 @ the age of 84. I miss my mother dearly, she was more than just my mother. She was my Queen, my friend, my teacher, my mentor, my confidant, my prayer partner, and so much more. I love gospel music and have played and sang all of my life, but I've never heard this song until now and it just took me out! My mother and very best friend in this world was 87 years old when she closed her eyes one last time late in the evening on May 21, 2020. My mother firmly believed in the power of prayer. I used to watch as she'd drop her head and close her eyes at any given moment to pray over a situation, or over her husband of 71 years, her 6 children, or grandchildren. I learned through her example the importance and personal nature of prayer. So, if I drop my head and close my eyes, just leave me be until I'm finished. I miss my mother so much. I was her 'baby girl', so losing her still shakes me going on six months later. But just like I promised before mother closed her eyes one last time, I will live right, serve the Lord, and see her on the other side. Daddy just turned 91 last month and is doing as well as he can. He misses his bride of 71 years so much. Daddy calls me by mother's first name every time I see him. It's okay though. I know his heart is just bleeding so I don't make a big deal out of it. I just say, "Yes, sir!?!", and bring him whatever he's asking for or answer his question. We are caring for daddy 24/7/365. He's never left alone, mother, and he's being well taken care of just like we promised you before you would relax and solely concentrate on Jesus.

What a precious opportunity. My mom went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 9/28/17. I still hear the prayers of my granny & momma today (4/2019). I thank God for those family devotions & making us go to Sunday School. Today, I love Sunday School. Thank God the values our elders deposited in our lives. Anyway, to see your mom cross over into eternity is a blessing. Thank God for that opportunity.

This song is powerful and so true. My mother has passed on to glory. I can still hear her praying for me. While in the military I always knew she prayed for me and my brothers when we didn't know how to pray for ourselves. Mama, we love you and miss you. Thanks for your prayers.
