To be fair, it looked impressive when Chesterfield scored infront of their fans. Always a better atmosphere in standing stadiums, as the fans who want to sing can stand alongside each other.

Cracking effort lad. I was there and although you could see the Halifax fans singing. There was no noise to be heard. The Away support was amazing and loud. Never stopped from start to finish.

@@anthonycalvert3831 You would like to think so as you are feet away from the Camera unlike the Away Fans who are over 100 yards away. I was surprised all the new fans knew the words of the songs and what colour Halifax played in. What is your average Home attendance again 2,160?

@@kevobmmd outsider here,impartial,I would say great support from Chesterfield,but the shay has better atmosphere than your ground just because of the standing areas

Great video and absolute scenes by us in the away end and a performance 1000% better than the last time we came to the Shay. Gutted you didn't get the King goal in focus in time. As for your analysis of at half time, the ref was just as awful for us with some decisions and the linesman taking 10 seconds to flag for the throw early on. Here's hoping that Danny Rowe is ok as after he came off and down the tunnel St John's went running down. Shout out to the steward in the seated section in the away end for coming in fancy dress looking like Garfunkel (of Simon & Garfunkel) or maybe he was Doc from Back to the Future.

Better atmosphere when you can stand,like at Halifax
@angelagreen36812 жыл бұрын
@@daveduck4315 you can stand at Chelsea and you can at Chesterfield (unofficially) but the guy that has a drum has sucked out any atmosphere our Kop had by doing the same repetitive chants on what sounds like a baked bin tin and is also why most the 'old guard' has moved away to the east and west stands singing more of the old songs.

@@angelagreen3681 I'm not a fan of drums,I find them iratating
@angelagreen36812 жыл бұрын
@@daveduck4315 well there has been discussions on the club messageboard about moving the whole singing section to the North end of the West stand and its been said by many that if the drum ends up there, it will have a foot through it. I didn't mind the drum at first but as time has gone on I have realised how sad and it sounds compared to other teams. If they are losing or playing poorly it's not used and that's when it should be used 1. To get the fans behind the team and 2. To rally the team. But it's not and that's the 2 key problems about the drum
