Ok I love this song.. he's awesome and can sing and he is so talented.....but I don't agree.... you didn't break your own heart..... What if you we're just being used and that person was pretending they liked you the whole time just to use you so it depends on the situation I would guess. You give everything to someone you do everything for that person thinking that you're doing the right thing and thinking that they like it and are enjoying it and feel the same just to find out that they were just using you.... and then you were made to leave. Then you get back with that person... Because what they did it for lasted two days what you ended up doing after being made to leave lasted four months but you ended up leaving that person that you got back with which that other person truly loves you truly care about you truly looked at you and wanted to be with you wonderful sleep with you wonder wake up with you and you're with that other person for on and off for 12 years and you actually which you have never done ever in your whole life left that person to be back with the other person that you thought made a mistake which she did she did what she didn't go left that was her mistake that person didn't want to be back with her they just wanted to cause drama intention for who not you for her and herself that's what she calls for herself you didn't make her leave she made you leave to be used you left and got back with somebody that care about you and loves you just to leave them to be back with the other one to then have a baby with them and be used the whole time whiles she's pregnant your driving back and forth to Connecticut every single day because she's pregnant just to rub lotion on her because you look at her and she's the most beautiful thing ever and she looks at you and sees a sucker just to be told that she was going to do something to you and she did she made you leave again and this time kept the baby from you and the baby wasn't even one years old yet you didn't get to see a picture of her you didn't get to see her talk to her live her hold her get her to sleep make her breakfast kiss her good morning before work after work have dinner with her kids her good night in her crib and tell her daddy loves you my little mookie pants or even see her first walk or be at her first birthday and it's done deliberately an intentionally and maliciously and now the baby's 2 years old and you're still using her as a weapon of mass destruction against that person and it breaks them and breaks them and breaks them and crushes them and crushes them and you're nice when you want something you're nice when you let that person come there and you get to be adults with each other you're there from Christmas time to February for four Christmas just to be used out of 16,000 at least and then told I didn't want to be with you anyway and then you say Well then why would you take all that money from me or even let me spend money on you like I did or give you money all the time like I did and still do when all I have to give you is $300 a month for child support which is absolutely way better than getting used for any amount so that's up to February now being December the baby's birthday was in August 30th you allowed to be there the whole week I slept there every night Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday my birthday was Friday we were adults on either Monday or Tuesday you were nice told me that you were going to cook me birthday dinner on Friday I got to actually be with the baby on her birthday which was really nice you know that's what I need as of dad as a human as a father it's a person that's what makes my insides happy that's what it does to all parents just to be told on Friday at 3:00 in the morning go die go die go die nobody needs you go die that was my birthday I didn't think I got a dinner laugh out loud and in the process or when she wants you're allowed to be there everyday make breakfast make lunch and make dinner do laundry clean the house cuz mom doesn't want to anyway so you do all that because that's just what you love to do anyway love doing dishes I work hard for a living roofing and construction and demo work plus I want to see you relax I want to see you smile I want you to know that somebody cares about you really not just because they want something from you or need something from you or need you there for the moment cuz that's not what it was not at all and I wasn't even in love with her when she first made me leave but after she initially did what she didn't mean to leave the baby and I came back from Christmas time till February for some reason even after doing what she did to me I looked at her and said I love her I think I love her I didn't want the form of her how to make myself love her if anything I should have really really not liked her she ripped my child out of my life and that wasn't all she dud to me . while she was at work before she even had the baby she was saying that well at least I can get child support from him... so you don't know that until it's all said to you you know and then it hurts you when it's told to you because it's told to you before she even had the baby I don't know ..it truely depends on the situation because you don't know what you got until your whole world is ripped apart and you feel worse than you did before you even got with that person cuz you know it might have taken that person or me 36 years just to get through what I went through in life as a child as a person and it wasn't good cuz I wouldn't of had to get through it if it was okay I wouldn't have wanted to get through it I would have enjoyed it so when your having somebody use you and use a child against you after the fact that all that other stuff went on and told well you can go make more money and then the baby sleeps at my house and then because you're upset because I'm not doing for you no more or as much because I'm kind of hurt and fed up about the whole thing you think that I'm wrong and I'm not I didn't do any of this that's what somebody did to me and lied to me and made me feel like they wanted to be back with me from before Christmas to February just to get so much money off of me which she kind of took almost everything I had and or at this point all of it and. Hoping to even have stuff for christmas for the baby and left me in a shamble.... sorry about writing you a book I don't ever do this I just read that comment and said I don't know how you could hurt yourself trying to love somebody if that person's being fake to you you're thinking somebody cares about you....you can either be a lesson in somebody's life or you can be a blessing in somebody's life and I'd like to be a blessing because life was hard and life's going to give you everything like you know maybe watching your mom dying right in front of your face of cancer and gasping and taking seven or nine breaths and dying and she was comatose for like a for like a month and the night that she died you went in her room and said it's okay Mom we're not going to fight meaning me and my brothers and sisters cuz life was sucky and then I said you can go see God and she hadn't moved in a month probably just her eyeballs it was sad and I said you can go see God she reached up and took like seven breathes and died in front of you.. so life's going to do that to you and a whole bunch of other stuff that you going to have to feel and we all have to... So without me causing you any kind of heartache or pain or sadness if you're crying because of me I want to be to because I told you the funniest thing or I was stupidly funny and you are like hes stupid and he's funny and I love him...ok sorry...for rambling

Here it is 12:30 in the morning and I'm up watching you tube videos cause I can't sleep. My kidney failure and 42 surgeries make sure of that. I came across this song that really hit me like a ton of bricks. After 20 years of a tuff marriage my wife left me for the dream of what could be. This song told that story for me . This was about 4 years ago but it doesn't hurt any less. She passed away from cancer and I had to watch her leave this earth when she had finally wanted me back. I know what pain is. There are a lot of people who have experienced this kind of love, but not all of them have realized they should let go or they may just refuse to. An update to my situation: She came to me a couple of weeks ago in tears. She claimed that she just hasn't been herself recently and she wants me back. We are currently in the pre-stages of getting back together. Of course i love her, but i have gained a whole new outlook and self respect for myself.
