I like to listen to jazz music since I was a teenager. And today I am 78 years old, but every day I discover new pieces like this. Just amazing. Nothing new when such good musicians meet. Another record to add to my playlist...

Who all are playing here with Baker & Desmond? They should all be complimented for an EXCELLENT recording!

This is still the best version I have listened to. Flawless musicianship, great combination. I have great respect for all these jazz greats! If only world leaders stop fighting and start appreciating good music.... Lotsa love from Malaysia ❤️

I am very happy that there are people who love beautiful Music and let it speak to them but above all they understand it!!! The leaders of the states have no sensibilities and they have no idea about Music,,,,, they only have one idea and that is the big idea they have for themselves and a huge ''ego'' !!! Thank you very much my friend for your comment!!! Greetings from Greece and Thessaloniki!!!

And 🙏 that these leaders would listen to one another as these guys listen to each other in their playing.....and are enriched by that listening.

Definitely my favorite version (sorry Miles!). My favorite alto player ever. Miles said of Paul: "A horn just shouldn't be played like that". Yeah, not when it whoops your tail, huh! And yeah, Charlie Parker's favorite alto player (be sure to check out the interview Desmond did with Parker!).

It is not "simple" to listen to music from a vinyl ... He wants you to appreciate, above all, the Music, the lyrics (where they exist), the artist, ... and in everything, and the "space" that "hosts" them and makes them "come alive" ...! Some things need "care", ... to perform ... Thank you for your comment Brett !!!
