He did a turnaround on a big guy that looked legitimate. A lot of this stuff in this highlight is just bully ball. You can tell he’s talented, but so is everyone else in the next level. He’s got good touch around the rim, a nice jumper, and looks to be a good area rebounder. All that translates at higher levels. But yea he’s skinny and slow.

Just wait till this boy gets some more weight on him and some strength...hes gunna be a beast. He has some of the best fundamentals for a youngster. So many youngsters these days dont focus on the fundamentals of the game...they focus on the flashy shit. Fundamentals wins games. Flashy shit doesnt. All the flashy shit just makes it more likely you will cause yourself things like turn overs, injuries, ECT. When this kid develops some real strength speed and agility and size to go with his fundamentals hes gunna do big things.

His game looks predicated on taking advantage of his height advantage over average HS players. I don't see anything special about his game. Gets in post and spins. If he doesn't add weight, polish his post game, and continues to think his size will take him where he needs to go, then he will be bullied at the next level and soon become a liability. D-1 athletes aren't your average HS player. There have been tons of 7 footers forgotten about after being drafted, so he has work to do if he wants to make it to the league and thrive.

What’s special is his skill set for someone so tall. Numbers can be predicated on competition, but your skill set has nothing to do with your opponent. Harder competition can help to mitigate your effectiveness, but that doesn’t remove the skills you’ve developed. And for someone so tall to have all of these moves already is what entices people. Maybe it won’t be super effective right away, but if someone says you look like Kevin at his age, then you look damn special.
