Wonderful rendition, many thanks. This is on the album Solo Flights, I am wondering if this can be played truly solo including the bassline, or this track on the album was done in two parts? It looks really hard for the melody on its own never mind adding a bass line - do you know or have you tried adding the bass line in? I'd love to play this one solo live with a bassline but can't find much about the song online beyond the album recording and this wonderful video. Cheers!

Hi Conor, thanks for watching the video. I do sometimes play it fingerstyle using an acoustic guitar when I am working practicing. But I play it in the key of A instead of Bb as in this video. It’s easier to get the bass running. Can’t do the clever parts with the bass running though, too hard for me lol. But thumbpickin’ is always fun. Cheers

This is so insanely nice to listen to :-) And yeah, I was presuming you made the backing track yourself watching the screen on your iMac (those newer models are so powerfull yet so stylish). And you keep it smooth, not overdoing nor exaggerating a note. Well done! Btw what is the DAW you use?
